FOREX BREAK ALMOST OVER

Over the years, I have made it a standard practice. I will stop trading from Christmas till Chinese New Year. These are the period that the market will not move or move very little. During these times, whenever anybody ask me my post in forex, I will give the freak out look on my face.

Just opened up my forex chart to look around. As usual, its not a pretty sight. So sit tight and enjoy the break while you still can. Forex calendar 2012 starts after CNY. Happy holidays everyone.

IT TAKES TIME

Been a while since I post here. In the mean time I'm just slowly trading. Most of the time, I'm on weekly trades but sometimes I just need to scan and trade within a short time. If you need to make a quick trade, I suggest you keep on reading.Most of the time I trade the 4 hour charts or weekly charts. These trades could last for weeks sometimes even months. I do however trade those short term trade from time to time. Rules is simple. Buy when the price is going up and sell when its going down. Only 1 rule, I dont think its too hard to follow.

From the chart we can see EG price is below 0.86. The idea is to trade long but I dont want to become a zombie and wait for it to go up. Put a buy order at 0.8600 with TP at 0.8700. If the price goes up it will hit the buy order and hopefully will continue to rise up. You may asked, why buy when the price is in general going down. The answer is the last 2 step is a price increase. I don't know why but mostly forex starts with number 2. It need 2 spike up and 2 new high price to be consider a trade. If the price continue to go down it wont hit the buy order. Best of luck.

Update:
After twice hitting 0.8640 and never made it above price have now fallen below MA55. All post exit. This trade plan isnt working. This thing is going down.

OPEN YOUR EYES AND YOUR MIND

People say trading is hard and I agree. Its hard because we dont have the answer. There is no spoon. There is no answer. What we have is our mind and our eyes. I havent heard of any blind traders yet.

In order to be profitable in forex you must train your mind. It seems the more indicators you use the harder it is to trade. Keep it simple and remember the principal of trading. BUY WHEN THE PRICE IS GOING UP AND SELL WHEN THE PRICE IS GOING DOWN.

Can anyone tell me when the price is going up or down in this chart???

A New Blog On A Long Lost Hobby

I hope you are doing well. I have setup a pool to find out how many people need forex training. I cannot guarantee success to any of you but with a little training you should be able to see what forex is and how it moves.

I would really like to ask for people to stop spamming this blog. I have lots of promotional comments which I deleted and will continue to delete in the future. So just dont do it.

FOREX WITH PEACE OF MIND

Hi everyone,

I hope all of you are doing fine and have lots of pips to enjoy. Just got back from a vacation. 6 days there and I got bored and get back home. Leave my wife and kids there to do their shopping. It seems that I like it better at home than to stay at hotels. Maybe I'm getting old :)

Been a while since I have updated this blog. Been thinking of deleting or selling this blog to anyone who wants it.

Met a friend while on vacation. It seems he is making 15k average per month without even knowing how to trade. Talk about forex with peace of mind. You guys wanna know how he did it? Let me tell you his story.

He wanted to learn from me how to trade but I am reluctant to teach him since this is not something I can teach. I can tell you how I did it but I cant guarantee you can do it the same way I did. Its not pure technical or skill. There are some form of mind control involve. I cant change your mind. You have to do it your self. Free your mind.

He kept asking me how to make money in forex. I gave him a way that is a bit risky but with care everyone can do it. I told him to find a trader that is looking for investors. Lots of new traders around with good skills but low capital. These traders are looking for a way to maximize their income, so they take in few accounts to manage. They trade their own account and at the same time execute the exact same trade on their managed accounts. They take profit from their own account and take commission on manage accounts.

Turns out after 1 year my friend manage to get 15k average monthly income and he knows nothing bout trading. There are few rules to follow if you want to do the exact same way.

1. Study the trader records. At least 3 months maintain profit.
2. Open a trading account with your name tied to your banking account. (dont ever hand him your money)
3. Get the trader details just in case he decide to make a run for it.
4. Ready to accept trading losses. If its a trading loss, accept it and release him from his burden. Trading is already hard enuf. Now you know why I dont manage accounts.
5. Give him your trading account details and leave him alone.
6. Take him out for dinner at the end of the months. Dont ask, let him tell you bout the trading.

Hope that is clear enuf. Those steps are minimal. Extra precaution is always welcome but dont put pressure on the trader. We dont want to send him to a mental hospital or something.

Sorry for the less updated blog. I dont feel that I have anything else to put in. The answer is all in here. This was more like a log to me. I put in everything that I learned in forex.

To make things easier, I will summarize it.

What is Forex?
Forex stands for Foreign Exchange Market. Where you buy 1 currency over the other (exchange). Its a business, no matter what people say. It involve buying and selling like any other business only difference is the medium is currency.

How to trade Forex?
The idea behind forex trading is to make profit from the difference in prices. Simply put, buy when the price is low and sell it when the price is high. Its just like the item you buy in stores, the store keeper is selling it at a higher price to make profit except in Forex you can sell first at high price and buy back later when the price is low.

When to buy and when to sell?
Logically you will sell when the price is going down and you will buy when the price is going up. It is simple but in practice this is what killing most traders. Something so simple can be so complicated.

How to know when the price is going down/up?
The price is going down when it no longer making new high. The price is going up when it no longer making new low.

Final advice
Forex is a human activity. It involve buying and selling. Because it is a human activity, it is not predictable. You cannot predict when is the time you need to go to toilet or when you are going to cut your hair. It is all based on situation. Prediction is an over statement of intelligence in Forex. You dont need it.

Fortunately not everything is unpredictable. By nature human tends to follow what other people are doing. In Forex there is something called the Trend. It happen when lots of people are doing the same thing at the same time (follow??). when more and more people are buying, you buy. When more and more people are selling you sell.

Dont get greedy. Put a reasonable target for each trade and get out once you get your target. There will always be another trade tomorrow and you dont have to trade everyday to make profit. Btw, last week I only trade once.

Good luck to all you traders. For the new blood, take your time. Give it 2 years before you can understand it and go for the kill.

FOREX IS AN ART

When you say trading, people will say trading is an art. Look at all the books that has been published on the subject. They will say the art of trading forex.

In that sense, we must take forex as an art and not a science. I know, some people may not agree with me and all the post that is in this blog. I don't blame them coz I was actually in the same place as they were when I started trading. Trying to find the answer to forex using every logical explanation.

This is the answer that you have been looking for. I am going to give it to you straight away. Let see if your mind can accept it.

Forex is not a science. There is not a single mathematical equation that can explain it. Do not forecast, do not predict, do not anticipate. All you need to do to make profit is to follow the market. If the price is going up, you buy. If the price is going down, u sell. You may not win all the time but if you follow the market, in the end you will be in profit. Make profit and build up your capital up to a point where a few winning trades per month will bring huge profit.

Can you accept it? Can you mind admit it? Is your logical mind challenged? Do you feel helpless? Welcome to the real world :)

OVERCOMPLICATED TRADING

Human tends to over-complicate things. It is in our nature to try and improve what we have but most of the time we overcomplicated things and forget about the simple solution.

In my previous post, I posted a chart of a basic system. It consist of candle stick chart, moving average and macd. Only 3 indicators and it is a very simple system rite?

The answer is, it is not so simple actually. Candle stick alone tell you 4 things that is, open, close, high and low price. MA tells you direction of trend, entry point, start and end of trend. Macd tell you trend, entry point, reversal point.

From only 3 indicators there are actually 11 information cramp into that small chart. Too much info and decision making is a hard job. Though i filter comments, no one has actually ask about the amount of information on chart. It seems people can accept 11 information at once. Can you manage 11 input at once and make a decision out of it??

Trading is actually much simpler. It is actually possible to make profit with only 1 information. Believe it or not??

A BASIC SYSTEM - 10/05/10

I posted a basic system before with a chart of GbpUsd. Now I am going to use the same system and post the same pairs again.

Now GbpUsd has cross above LWMA55 and Macd has cross also. This is a new signal. So from now on only consider long position on GbpUsd. Btw anyone notice the price on this chart with the one i posted earlier?

Someone posted trade details. It seems the way I am trading will make me go bankrupt. All I can say is you dont have the idea what Forex is. Maybe I may not know how to handle the current market but my demo account has no drawdown. Maybe its coz im lucky. I just dont know.

I have stop trading the demo on marketiva. For $30 for the monthly winner. It is just a waste of time (Now I am going to reverse trade it). Instead I go for Instaforex forex sniper. Prize money is $1500 for weekly winner. Check out the banner on top.

FOREX 4TH ANNIVERSARY

Today marks the end of 4th year I am in Forex and I am still here. Most of the friends that I know trade has already stop. It must mean something to stay here for so long when most people quit. Its either I am really stubborn or I am not losing money. Which one you think?

After 3 days of demo trading I got over 25k of profit from 10k max lot trading. Its over 250pip net profit. Not bad for a part time trader and a 7th place so far. I dont think I can be number 1 coz of limited time I trade. Its a good progress, it shows where I am after 4 years. How about you?

A BASIC SYSTEM

Any system need to have a very good basic to stand on. Once the basic is sort out, then all the accessories can be add on. Just remember not to add too much to it. Today I am going to give a basic system. It consist of only 2 indicators. Being simple, it is able to generate good signal. Just remember to put SL properly.

Indicators:
1. LWMA 55
2. MACD standard setting

Time frame: 30m

Stop Loss : 35 pips

Take Profit : 35 pips or more.

Currencies : EurUsd, GbpUsd, EurJpy, GbpJpy

Trading System:
LWMA act as a thin trend line. If the price is above it, its uptrend. If the price is below it, its downtrend. So you buy or sell according to trend. Never reverse trade. MACD also shows the trend. If MACD is above 0, its uptrend and the other way around.

I have put 3 vertical lines in the chart where MACD cross 0. Once MACD cross 0, you should only trade according to trend. You entry should be on the LWMA 55 or close. At the moment MACD has cross 0 and is heading down. From now on only consider short position. Try to enter as close as possible to LWMA 55.

Caution has to be taken, even though MACD has cross the trend is not yet full down actually. There is another indicator that I use to show trend and its not full down yet. Unfortunately that indicator is no where in the chart because it is not on GbpUsd chart. It is somewhere else.

Now you wonder why its not there. The truth is most people fail because what they are looking for is not there. That is what I meant with looking at the wrong direction. The trend indicator for GbpUsd is not on GbpUsd chart. Weird isnt it?

You can take this basic system and try to add on what ever system you have. Hopefully it is useful. Good Luck

THE ENDING IS NEAR

1,447 days ago I started to step in the world of Forex. 6th May 2006 is the day I registered my 1st demo account and its a Saturday. Through out my journey in Forex, there are no actual manual, text or books that I can really refer to. Its like an unexplored land with no maps what so ever. There are only guides available online with no one giving specific answer.

Though hard it may be I started to develop my own system and continue to improve on that system. No matter how I try to improve it, there is still something missing. After a long and hard work I finally got the answer. It is an answer that I wasn't willing to accept. So I disappeared for almost 1 year though my part of moving places only took 1 month to settle.

Now I am back trading with the answer in my head thus a new direction in my sight. Turns out it is really easy once you have the right answer. You know the question as well as I do. "WHAT IS FOREX".

I believe my learning period in Forex is almost over. I can now see direction clearly. I know which pair to trade with the highest probability of profit. I know when to exit and I know when to turn off the computer while still holding positions. I have mastered the basic of Forex. The only thing now is discipline and Money Management.

What I am not willing to do is to write in this blog about trading ideas. I may blow out the answer. After almost 4 years, its not something I am willing to give easily. There are no notes, no records, nothing written anywhere on my trading ideas. Its all in my head. My system now is so simple, it consist of only 2 main indicators which I can trade without. Find the answer and its all smooth sailing from there. I just wish I have found it earlier.

For those of you who show interest in my new trading system, thank you for the attention. I have stopped giving out my system due to limited time I have to teach. I dont teach, I dont sell my system, I dont ask for your money and I dont give signals.

A TRADER'S TOOLS

A mechanic has many tools. Each tools with its own usage and purpose. It is only down to intelligence and creativity that separates a good mechanic and a bad one.

Like a mechanic, a trader has many tools as well. Each indicator is a tool for the trader and a combination set of tools with rules is a trading system. A good trader has not 1 but many system. Each system has different purpose. It is down to knowledge and creativity that separates a good trader and a bad one apart from portfolio.

The best time frame to trade is the lower time frame but due to noise and spikes it is difficult to trade using lower timeframe. It is the reason why most trades fail in short time frame.

EurUsd has been ranging for the past few days and due to it, has hit my stop loss twice. Being a trend trader myself, I just cannot trade during these ranging period. So I stopped trading and try to make a new trading system using lower time frame to catch these ranging market.

It seems with a new set of tools (not new actually, had not used them for a while), I have manage to create an almost perfect trading system for all time frame but with the target of 15m chart. The only thing that this new system doesnt show is when not to trade which i made up with a new set of rules.

EURGBP DROP

Yesterday I wrote about EG connection. Guess what, I took the whole EG drop and run away with it. Right now all live post on EG is closed, profit in the bag :).

I was so confident on EG drop I was betting 50% of my capital on it on 1 post only. Quiet a risk and really worth it. I feel like I just won a horse race :))

EU still up there and there is a killer spike up to 1.3537. Atm I on sideline watching for opportunity.

EURGBP CONNECTION

Here is a homework for some of you. Your task is to find the connection between EurGbp with Eur pairs (EurUsd, EurJpy) and Gbp (GbpUsd, GbpJpy) pairs. You can post in comments about your findings so that we can discuss. Discussion is always a good learning method since you are required to think and not spoon fed.

EURUSD has finally reached its top. Entry point for me is between 1.3450 - 1.3500. You can find a suitable entry point or wait for the pair to really go down and take your entry. At the moment that entry is still a high risk entry. I am giving an early heads up so you guys can prepare.

Btw dont post link or whatever you want to promote in comments. I will not allow it and there is no such thing as 100% accurate forex signal. When are you guys gonna get it. There is no such thing as 100% in life.

CHART ANALYSIS - EURUSD

I think I will give chart analysis from now on. Its easier to do and easier for you guys to get confused :). First up is EurUsd. Not very hard to trade actually once you know the direction.

Ok lets go to the confusing part. That is the charts.

There you go. Weekly chart for starters. Can any of you guess which way is EU going? From the looks of it, EU is really going down and its a fast one. Easy isn't it?

Next chart please. 1 chart isn't going to get anyone confused.

Next is the Daily chart. Guess what, daily is also pointing down but at the moment it is in oversold position. CCI is way down there and making a U turn. Expect correction at daily level. So far 2 charts says EU down with a correction coming.

Another chart. Anyone confused yet???

This is the hourly chart. We can see where the correction is. Its really climbing now. So before anyone get anymore confuse I would say wait for the hourly chart to point down then you sell. Plan for the worse hope for the best. Keep your money management tight and you may survive the storm.

Btw dont sell EU yet. That sell line is for me to mark S&R. If EU do go down next target is 1.30 and 1.25 based on S&R on weekly chart.

Now the question is, how long do we have to wait before selling EU. The answer is I dont know. Just wait and see. It is what Forex is. Anyone here still confused?? I do :)

ITS NOT PIPS BUT PROFIT IN FOREX

You can actually tell if someone is new in Forex by the way they count their pips or profit. When people starts forex they count pips. They can have hundreds of pips a day and yet their profit is low. This is due to the low risk reward ratio they have taken.

Once you are older in Forex, you will see the ratio. No point of taking hundreds of pips when the profit is low. So you start to take high risk high return trade. These trades do not give you high pips but the profit margin is high.

That is how money is to be made in Forex. You actually manage your risk and take profit from it. For today as of now, I already taken 3 trades. 2 profit trades and 1 lost trade. My account grows 37%. Not bad for a slow Monday.

For the answer to Forex, once you know it you will feel helpless. No matter how smart or brilliant you are it counts for absolutely nothing here. I have Banking and IT qualification. Did that help me? 2 different qualification did not help me one bit here. Made me want to cry when I found it out.

EurGbp is going up so those of you who have the guts do buy EG at every dip refer to chart 1H or lower to view.

I got lots of email and calls asking me about the secret of forex and how to trade. What if I tell you the answer is not as u expected it to be. Some people even rejected the answer when I told them.

I dont blame them. When I found the answer I feel like Im going to cry. Its hard to accept something the logical mind cannot understand. In the mean time, take it slow and enjoy the ride.

People say seeing is believing. 2 post already TP. Another 1 more for weeks to come. Forgot to mention. Possible retrace at the price in the picture. So TP at will reentry on next low.

AN EYE ON AUDUSD

AU manage to hold its level when both EU and GU fall down dramatically. Do look at the daily chart to see what I mean.

Some of your might not understand what it means and so do I :) Dont worry, the longer you are in Forex the more info you will filter out. This is coz some things are not worth understanding.

The reason I am pointing this out is when a pair is making a stand like AU, you can actually use it to your advantage. Advantages such as:

1. The next time AU decide to fall down there is a high probability the EU and GU will crash but there is a limit to everything.

2. The next time EU and GU start to climb, AU will fly.

Keep that in mind coz I do. I am waiting for the AU to fall or fly.

LOST IN FOREX

Have you ever been lost in Forex? Some of you might be thinking, how do i get lost in forex?? Let me ask another question. Have you ever open a trade in one direction, after some time open a trade in the opposite direction?

Im sure that happens to all of us, myself included :). That is lost in Forex, where we are unsure of direction of trade. Some people even hedge in the situation.

I have a few tips when you are lost in Forex.

1. If you are lost and dont know which direction to trade, the most important thing is to stop trading and do something else. Go plant a tree or play games. Dont even look at the charts anymore to avoid confusion.

2. Is to take a trading system and put it on multiple time frame. I trade using the same system on 3 timeframe. 15m, 1h, daily. When all three is pointing at the same direction then I trade. If 2 timeframe is pointing at the same direction then i scalp.

3. After sometime, your brain will start to imprint patterns of Forex. Forex has the same pattern over and over again. In our mind, that pattern has been imprinted and it influence our decision making subconsciously. Once you reach that state you will rarely get lost in Forex. You will know the exact time to trade or to get lost (do something else).

I will try to update this blog. Been so long and so busy with new place. As for Forex, USD pairs are going nowhere at the moment with a high probability to go down further. Good luck on your hunt for pips

DAILY TRADING - THERE IS NO SPOON

Some people are asking me about the secret of daily trading. The answer is there is no secret. It is there for everyone to see but the question is, can you accept what you see.

Trading the daily chart requires patience, lots of it. That is what most of us lack. Patience. If you look at the longer timeframe charts, you will see that price will stop or hover around certain areas. That is your key point. Always start or stop trading around these key point.

The next indicator I use is CCI. CCI alone is a bit of a headache. So I smooth it out with MA. With the MA, I can see the direction of trade clearly. People say MA is a lagging indicator but I dont want to be early going to a party. I like to enter when the party already started.

The last advice is, there is no such thing as holly grail. You just cannot win all the time. The best that we can do is try to win as much as possible and lose a little as possible. In the long run, it would be profitable enough to stay trading. Otherwise you need to find another business to run.

TRADING THE DAILY CHARTS

Due to restricted time and Internet connection that I have now, I have opted to trading using the daily charts.

Its not as aggressive and thrilling as trading on the shorter time frame but the result is about the same minus the headache. I'm beginning to like daily trading. I need to make decision once in a while and the rest of the time I just hold my position.

On a daily chart, the candlestick is much easier to read and pattern is much clearer. On 13th August I opened 3 position. 2 of which is still holding while 1 has been closed. At the moment all position are in profit.

Daily trading is not for everyone. It took me sometime to adjust on the requirements of daily trading, but once you are there you never look back.

NEW STRATEGY AND THE RESULT IS ...

On my last post, I was telling you about a new system. I decided to do forward testing. As usual all testing was done on a demo account. No live account was hurt during the testing period.

The result as you see is superb. There are actually 2 part of testing. The early trades are done on a shorter time frame, 5 minute to be exact. The later part of testing is done on a longer time frame, 1 hour.

I must say the system looks promising on the longer time frame. On the shorter time, I just dont have the time to monitor the trades.

As of now the system is running on my live account. At the moment on 4th June my account is up 40%. Hopefully everything goes well and I will have good profit by end of the month. Will keep you inform on the result later.

NEW PLACE, NEW SCHEDULE AND A NEW SYSTEM

On April 2009, I moved to Kuala Lumpur. A new place requires me to have new schedule. I dont have much time as I would like in front of a PC which means, shorter time for me to trade. It requires me to adapt to the time I have to trade and make a new system.

In my quest to adapt my existing system to a new time constraint trading requirement, I accidently stumble onto a new system. Its a very simple system that has shown good result for the month of April and May at the moment.

Just to show you what I have stumble upon, here is a screen shot of my demo account that I have used to run the test. It doesn't show high accuracy but it shows a return of over 100% last month and a small return this month so far.

Here is the hard part. What if I say that I can actually have an accuracy of 100%. Meaning I can win all the time with this system. The numbers you see there is me using a demo account trading with limited time with no regards for the system rules.

Would it be nice to actually win all the time. I will keep you guys posted on the result by the end of this month. In the meantime I cannot be online as long as I like to. For my friends, I know my YM is not online for a long time but just leave a message and I will answer when I have the time.

LWMA 55

One of my favorite indi is LWMA 55. I dont know why but the price seems to react a lot of this line. People say that MA is a lagging indicator and I agree with them 100% but do not use MA as a signal generator, instead use them as a dynamic support and resistance.

For those of you who love to experiment, try putting LWMA 55 on a chart and see how price actually interact with the line. Its not magic but its a mathematical calculation.

Dont get me wrong, you may not be able to trade using MA 55 alone. Try putting LWMA 13 in there as well and remember they are not signal generators. Treat them as dynamic support and resistance.

Put it into a simple formula. If price > LWMA 13 & LWMA 55 = long. If price < LWMA 13 & LWMA 55 = short.

Try it, you may like what you find. Just needed to add in a filter to improve accuracy.

WHAT FOREX IS NOT

Forex is not easy even though my blog says so.
Forex is not a place for newbie
Forex is not something you can learn overnight
If you needed the money, dont put it in Forex. Seriously. Go somewhere else.
Forex is a journey, enjoy it.
There is no such thing as holy grail coz there is no perfection in this world. If perfection exist in this world it would be boring. No more room for improvement.
Forex is not rocket science. There is no right or wrong. There is only probability.

I am typing this from my pc. It a bit of a mess now, the new house still needs a little work and I am not feeling well lately. Maybe its the change in climate.

This week I am going to talk about numbers only. Forex is after all based on numbers. Example, I have a long position on GBPUSD @ 1.4700 with a profit of 320 pips at the moment and still holding.

What I am going to say is big players only see big number. The do not see the last 2 digit. The last 2 digit is for scalpers. Big players only see the 1st 3 or 4 digit only. So if a bank wants to buy or hedge a currency they will give an instruction to buy at 1.47. Thats it. Simple yet people fails to see it.

So what happens at 1.47? The price will bounce of or hover around it but things arent always what they appear to be. What happen is price will have a range between 1.46 - 1.48. That is almost 200 pips wide range. Imagine what happen to your 50 or 100 pip SL?? Now you know why people lose money even though they have the right direction.

These big players have big money they dont mind to stand few hundreds negative pips coz in the end they will profit big time. What they do is they will have a standing order to trade at certain level. Because the total amount of order, the market cannot fill the order in 1 transaction and so price will hover or bounce of a certain level. This is where double top or bottom appear. Behind it is the action of filling orders by these big players.

Example EJ currently have a top of 1.34 and a bottom of 1.30. Big players are playing the game here. At the moment EJ is climbing and there is a big possibility that it will reach 1.34 again. I have a standing order to buy EJ at 1.30. If it hits there is a very big chance for 400 pips gain. Only time will tell.

Attach is a chart of GBPUSD. If you look carefully, you can see my actual entry point. I will explain the rest of the chart in due time.

TRADING ONLY WITH MOVING AVERAGE

At the moment I am rather busy. Moving to a new place and house. The house still needs a lot of work. As a result, I do not have time to update this blog. Trading is still going on but on a shorter timeframe. Result is consistent now. AudUsd is very kind at the moment with no sudden movement.

In the next few weeks I will show you how to trade using only MA. As usual what works for me may not work for you. This is because some of you may not be able to follow the rules of the game.

RULES OF THE GAME
1. Trade based on your capital and the time that you have. The bigger your capital the longer the TF. The more time you have the longer the TF. Vice versa.

2. Only trade at the direction pointed by the MA pairs. If the MA pairs is showing mixed direction, do not trade. The MA pairs must be pointing at the same direction.

3. If a trade suddenly change direction, do not hesitate to close it at a loss and turn the trade. This is the hardest part where most of you failed. Free your mind or become a loser all your life.

4. Keep in mind, there is no such thing as winning all the time. Just make sure you win a lot more than you lose. In the end your profit will grow along with your confident.

Simple system with simple rules. I like to keep it simple. No point of having the most complex system when simple system can have the same result. With this system you will be out of the market most of the time. This is because you will only be taking the big move and avoiding the small move and market noise.

Last advise. Do not anticipate. Forex is not a game of inteligence eventhough this system at full swing will show you possible turning point. I am having a possible turning point for audusd at 0.7200 but I will not take it coz there will be market swing before the actual turn. Why wast time waiting for the big move when you can actually see when its going to move.

ITS NOT THE SYSTEM

After more than 2 years of trading, I can tell you a story about forex system. Forex system is a way to trade to have higher chances of profit. Unfortunately not all forex system works. This is because its not the system that is not working. It is you.

What if I tell you that I have a system that consist of Moving Average only. The system can make profit and will minimize you loses or even give you a chance to break even during hard times.

You would be thirll to test it out only to find out that in the end you are losing money and you say the system is crap. The truth is if one person is making money using the exact same system yet you are losing money. So where do you think the fault is? Is it with the system or is it with yourself?

You can never gain profit in Forex until you figure out what is wrong with you. Most of the time when you are losing money you would blame it on the market, news, system etc but never on yourself. Until you figure out what you did wrong, any system no matter how good will fail in your hands. After you realize what you did wrong, then you can make money, seriously.

When you know what not to do, you can trade without any indicator. I myself is trading using only MA now. Took me a while to understand but once you see it, you no longer depending on any indicator. It is your judgement that counts.

I never know what I would learn the further I go in this world or Forex. Right now I am starting to understand why some traders trade without any indicator. The best indicator is in your brain. You just need to develope it. It will take some time. No hurry.

A DIFFICULT MARKET CONDITION

It is not looking particularly well for GBPUSD. In the other hand, EURUSD and AUDUSD is looking good for a long term trade. I am taking the long position. It may take a very long time to profit but looking at the chart from a technical view, EURUSD and AUDUSD is in a good position for a long term trading.

I dont exactly know the entry point but I do know the direction. It is time to monitor the shorter time frame in order to find the best possible entry and to minimize stop loss.

It may take sometime but I dont care. I have been waiting for this moment almost 2 months. Look at the charts and see the formation of daily, 4 hour, 30 minute and 5 minute. You may see something that took me over 2 years to see.

Only time can tell if my calculation is correct. At the moment I am still waiting for the 5 minute chart to give and entry signal.

This blog has not been regularly updated. This is due to internet connection problem. It has been months now and my internet connection is still not up to 100% fitness level. I can post text but I cannot upload pictures or any attachment. I even opted to use my office internet during the day for my uploads.

As for forex I am playing the short term game. 5 minute TF to be exact. It is much safer since my internet is not stable. Its a intraday system trading the 30 minute trend with a 5 minute signal for entry and exit. So far so good.

Actually the system is simple. It is based on MA and RSI only. Even trading is simple for me nowadays. It seems that experience changes me. I am no longer sitting in front of the PC hoping for miracle. There is no miracle in Forex. It is just knowledge and study so that the direction can be expected.

The longer I trade the more I understand. After all I am still learning with every trade. Now I understand how people can trade from candlestick alone. This is because the best indicator is not on the screen but in your head. Use your brain, the best indicator of all.

Back to Forex its in ranging mode now but the daily chart is showing a weakness is trend. EU is a downtrend but is weakening at the moment. 30m chart is still showing a downtrend at the moment with 5m chart is supporting it. So for today the best bet is to short EU but watch out for the long term trade.

FREE FOREX SIGNAL - NOT REALLY

When people say free forex signal, it refer to an instruction to trade specific currency pair at a certain price. Normally this signal is based on the trader study and experience. It is more of a personal view of things to come.

In certain cases the signal does work. In a different situation, it fails. This is because the person giving that signal is also a small trader. His study is based on either technical or fundamental with no real money to back it up.

If that person is good, he will have enough followers and the total money traded towards his signal will back him up and make the currency move. If that person have very few followers, then he is swimming alone in a sea full of sharks.

That is what most of us do. We do not coordinate and we work alone in forex. Thats why the sharks are taking their time and making easy picking of us, swallowing one at a time. It doesnt sounds good but its the truth. Now you dont have to wonder why most people fails and why banks keep on making huge profit.

If you want to take forex signal, take it from someone who you can trust from inside the banks. They have a lot more info and study on forex. The amount of info, knowlegde, manpower and money is impossible for any of us to compete.

For some people who manage to find a method to be profitable in forex, its a good thing. You have found a way to take advantage of the system. The system after all is developed by human and human by itself is full of weaknesses.

For those of you who is losing, its time to think about swimming alone is a sea of sharks. Time to find friends and help each other out in terms of knowledge and money power.

Dont get me wrong, I am in profit today. I have found a way to take advantage of the system though its like a mouse, stealing food one little bit at a time. Better to profit a little than losing all the time but for how long are you willing to be the small fish. Always jumping in and out of trade. Hoping for the trend to hold long enough for you to gain a little profit.

In order for me to grow in forex, I need to team up. It has long been in my mind, just looking for the right opportunity and people. Anyone here think the same?

GbpUsd is not going up, celcom 3g is not getting better. Trading is getting slower. Looking at the daily chart GU is still a downtrend. Only time will tell in the mean time I stumble upon a system worth looking into. Its not mine but it is beautifully created taking into account the strength of trend. A style that is safe to me.

Trend has it momentum, when you enter when the momentum is strong enough the price will continue it course. Thats how you profit as a small fish

In my long last post I mentioned I was waiting for 1.4650 level. It did reach and a bit more down. At the moment it is at 1.5000. Its a slow climb and looking at daily chart it is still a downtrend but if it maintain its course, it will go uptrend soon.

Still having trouble with internet. Celcom 3G is not as stable as it used to be. I cannot upload and having trouble login to forex account. Anyone else having problem with Celcom 3G??

I was doing some graphic editing these days. Just as a hobby. It seems that everytime I try to render in Photoshop, my pc will shutdown. It just switch off the power and everything is blank.

So I decided to investigate on the cause of the shutdown. After monitoring the temperature while doing some Photoshop rendering. My CPU temperature climbed up to 94C and my north bridge chipset is at 124C and the system will shutdown.

Imagine the component of your PC is reaching 124C. That is higher than point of boiling for water. It is scary sometimes thinking that the pc is under my table, just beside my leg and it is burning hot. Hopefully nothing will ever explode and take my leg with it. Im typing this with one leg on the chair just in case.

If you are using a pc, there is nothing to worry about. Under normal usage, the cpu is always below 40C. Mine is sleeping at 33C now. Its just that when you do some heavy calculation stuff that everything turns up red hot. So you can just surf the net, play some 3d games, watch dvd etc. Those normal usage do not require heavy calculation and your PC is half awake. Btw, 3d games is not a heavy usage. My pc can run Quake Wars with everything turned to max for hours. No problem there.

I will not use photoshop again on this pc. This is my power pc and it is running hot. I am using my 2nd pc to render all my photoshop graphic. Its been an hour and my 2nd pc still not finish rendering a 14Mega Pixel picture. This pc however can do it in 10 minutes. Talk about difference in power.

Next I am going to buy an Apple Mac for all my rendering needs. So my house will be full of computers. Btw I have 3 desktop and a laptop now working in the house. So if I add another Mac, I can turn my house into a cyber cafe.

As for Forex, its going up but at the moment the direction is down. So be on the look out for a sell but keep in mind, the long term trade is a buy. Forex is not a straight road and I feel like Yoda speaking right now. How can I say sell but at the time look for buy. You know it when its there. I assure you.

THESE ARE HARD TIMES.

The Market is now moving with unexpected turns. These are hard times. News traders have long gone. These kind of market isnt moving with the news. The only ones left are fundamental long term traders and technical traders. These are the traders who will survive in these kind of situation.

I have heard of quiet a numbers of blown accounts now. For these people dont feel bad. The world is not againts you. Just have to wait for a better time to enter the market.

I for myself have taken the long term trades only. Short term trades is out of the question now. Those sharp and sudden turns will kill any short term traders. It took me a while to realize, fortunately my loss is small and I manage to change tactics in a short period of time. At the moment I only take long position because that is what the daily chart is saying. All managed accounts is currently on hold. No more live trades for managed accounts. The risk is not very healthy right now.

These are hard times. The market is ever changing but at the moment the changes is greater than before. You need to be on your feet and react accordingly to changes of the market. Survive this and you will survive a long time in the market.

Ranging Market

In long term, this is a ranging market. You can see it from 4H. In medium term, this is a turning market. It is in a process of going for a long trade. That is the direction but I do not know if the trend will hold the direction.

Last week I manage to profit but only by a little. I lost a lot on Friday but manage to cover the losses and gain a little profit in the last minute. Have to stay up till 4am just to cover the losses.

Its a hard life becoming a trader. Is this the life you wanted? Sometimes I wonder that myself.

RANGING PERIOD

Its ranging period again and its driving me nuts. My SL for EU got hit after 3 days. Got a few chance of closing it in profit but I refuse. Talk about being greedy now I am down by 50 pips.

This time around, big move belongs to GBP pairs. Steady move belongs to AUD pairs. Take your pick. You want big and risky, or small but safer. Safe here refer to your insurance in forex called Stop Loss.

At the moment GBP pairs has hit a brick wall on its way up. Most probably it wont break it or drop down again. Either way, a drop down again is unavoidable. That is where i plan to take my entry. Long position is looking good now but only after one more correction.

A UNIQUE CONDITION

At the time of writing EU is in a unique condition. 30M = 4H = D1. They are all pointing up but a bit heavy on the downside. This type of condition is very dangerous. It is all based on market sentiment.

At the moment the market is still trying to push EU down but EU has aligned itself for a shoot up. Just be carefull where you are standing when the big dogs enter the arena.

CRAPPY CONNECTION. RANGING PERIOD

Sorry for the long period of no update on this blog. It seems that internet connection is really bad. At the office I am using Streamyx. Connection is crappy as usual. At home I am using Celcom 3G. Its better but its slow. Maybe my home is not well covered by the 3G network.

As for forex, EurUsd, GbpUsd, AudUsd, EurJpy and GbpJpy is heading up now but not to worry, there is still time. On the long term only EurUsd looks good for a long trade. I am currently holding long EurUsd @ 1.2640 with a stop loss of 50 pip. This is a long term trade, hopefully the move upwards will take a long time and lots of pips on the way.

As for the other pairs, it is heading up but its not an uptrend yet. They will be entering the ranging period now. So there will be plenty of chances for entry. If all these pairs maintained their direction we will see a change in trend in the longer term trades.

I will list key levels for guidelines. These key levels are good for both sell and buy position. Treat them as guidelines for entry in either direction.

EurUsd : 1.2670
GbpUsd : 1.5050
AudUsd : 1.6450
EurJpy : 119.20
GbpJpy : 141.50

These key levels are always changing. Since most of these pairs are entering the ranging zone so you can use these key level for this whole week. As for me I will be looking for a long trade from these levels that is if the current direction stays.

Good things are simple things. If you have a system, make sure it is simple. With simple indication you can make clear decision.

BREAKING THE TREND

At the moment, majoriti of pairs are struggling to break the trend. From my analysis, only EurJpy and AudJpy have broken the trend. The rest will be in ranging mode until the trend is broken.

EurJpy @ 123.80

Those are entry point for short. Those are guideline only. You should be looking for better entry unless you have the guts for -ve pips

The rest of the pairs are ranging at the moment until the trendline broken. Do enter at will but no long term trade. Scalping mode from now on until a new trend is born.

STOP LOSS HUNTING. THE MARKET IS CRUEL

Sometimes it happen but this is one rare ocassion and I am really stunned. I was holding a long position on GJ. I am in profit of about 100 pip with a stop loss of 50 pip from my entry point. Guess what. The market turned down 150 pip in one move, hit my stop loss and now its flying.

This has nothing to do with the broker, it is just the market is cruel. No matter who, you will get hit sooner or later. In order to hit me, the market has to move 150 pip againts the trend. What an honour I must say. 150 pip is much more than most people TP.

Enough said, all pairs should have a steady climb from now on. If you are holding long at the moment, make it long term.

FRIDAY AGAIN BUT WITH A LITTLE TWIST

As I said before, Friday is not a good day to trade but what if you have a signal to reverse everthing on Friday morning. Will you take it?

AUDUSD did drop down an enormous amount. I hope some of you profit from it as I posted earlier asking you to find a place to short as good as humanly possible. Now its changing direction. Unfortunately it happen on friday morning. As we all know, Friday is for those short term trader to take their profit. Money will flow out of the market leaving it with a very low trading volume. Anything can happen on Friday.

LONG TERM TRADE

Last nite jump was expected but GBPUSD never made it big. Only EURUSD and AUDUSD manage to jump big enough. EURUSD was screaming long from early morning yesterday while AUDUSD make the last minute move.

From a long term perspective. AUDUSD is in a good position for a short position. This is a long term strategy and may require you to have high tolerence toward -ve pips.

So the signal is to short AUDUSD and AUDJPY at the best position as humanly possible. This trade may run up to weeks if not months. So prepare your account for long term holding of post.

POSSIBLE REVERSE BY GBPUSD

Looking at the charts this morning, I have a very strong feeling that GBPUSD will make a reverse soon. The move will be significant enough for a reverse trade. MARKET REVIEW MON, 10 NOV. WEEK 46

My position late friday ended up in break even. It seems the market has turned over the weekend. This is a rare situation but sometimes it happens. In forex everything is possible.

Monday morning. The currency that is most volatile is GBP, EUR and CAD. I will not talk on CAD since I dont trade it. For GBP and EUR, it has grown in strength. Market has turned and the trade is now to long GBP and EUR pairs.

I would be looking for opportunity to long GBPJPY and EURJPY. These are the pairs that shown significant trend turn that long position from now on will have a higher chance of profit.

At the moment all GBP and EUR pairs are making a correction. If support level holds, take your long entry on next low.

AUTOMATIC TRADING

This is one thing that I hate most. A lot of people asking for my trading system. I know what they are going to do with it. They will take the hard work of many years, code it into an expert advisor and let it run on automatic trade.

For those of you who already has a succesfull system, you may share similliar view. Unfortunately for those who are still looking for a profitable way to trade, this is one of their easiest option. I dont blame them, creating a profitable system is not an easy task. It takes years to develop and test a system with no guarantee of success.

For those of you still looking for a way to be profitable in forex, there are system available on the internet. One of them is Zulutrade. Zulutrade is a place where signal providers (like me) test out their trade system with thousands of traders. It like a competition for traders. Good news is people can open an account and pick which signal providers they want to auto trade their account. Best thing is, its free. Yes, its free. You dont have to pay 30% of your profit to your account manager.

I personally never have used their system but am trying to register as a signal provider. Those of you can try it out if you want. All you have to do is open an account with them. Fund the account and pick which signal providers you want. Dont take my word for it. You have to go to Zulutrade and investigate yourself. Remember its your money.

WHAT HAPPENED TO TRADERS I KNOW?

When I started to venture into the world of forex, there are a few local traders that I knew. They are either seasoned or newbie like me back then but now it seems that most of them are gone. They are no longer in the land of forex and they are doing something else.

It seems the saying is true. Most people will not survive the 1st 6 months in forex. Those who survive the 1st 6 months will have a tough 2 years. Some people lasted longer but they no longer trade. They have become and IB living on commission. One person whom I know doing that is henrycarol. Before he was an IB for Northfinance, now he is an IB for a different broker. Personally I do not think he trade anymore. This is because the commission is too small compared to profit in forex. If you cannot profit, then your option is taking commission on volume traded by others.

I am heading to my 3rd year in forex. I survived this long by controlling my loss. You cannot win all the time in forex but make sure when you lose, you loss is small. When you win, make sure its big. There will come a time when you have series of losses but those losses can easily be recovered with one big win.

At the moment I am managing an account. Its a loss account where the owner already given up hope. It has a very small margin. Apart from that there are 3 more offers. All of it with the amount of over RM20,000.00. All these offers came from people who have actually watch me trade. I now know that account statement means very little. People wants to see how you trade and they want to see you are winning in front of them.

At the moment my trade system have reached it 3rd revision. I have 2 students at the moment but unfortunately for newbie, the amount of information they have to digest is too much. They easily get lost in it. The hardest part is not the amount of information but following orders. Any system in the world will have specific instruction. It seems that humans are very bad at following instructions. It is in our nature. No matter how simple my system is, there will always be times when people do not follow the rules and human like to blame others on their mistakes.

Enough of that. My last signal actually survive the spike of the rate cut. If anyone following that, you will be in profit or break even. The rest of the pair didnt survive the spike.

1. Short EURUSD @ 1.2830
2. Short AUDUSD @ 0.6670

October Nonfarm Payroll (Consensus Estimate: -200,000 to -250,000 Jobs)

The September jobs report was rather gloomy as U.S. employers cut payrolls at the steepest rate in five-and-a-half years. An unexpectedly high 159,000 jobs were slashed as employment thinned for a ninth straight month, strongly suggesting the economy may be in recession.

The unemployment rate was unchanged from August at 6.1 percent—the highest rate since the colossal 212,000 job decline in March 2003—as 121,000 people left the workforce.

Job cuts were across the board in September following revised losses of 73,000 jobs in August and 67,000 in July, showing an acceleration of decline in employment. Nearly 51,000 manufacturing jobs were lost last month on top of 56,000 cut in August, bringing the total number of consecutive months in which manufacturers slashed their payrolls to 27.

For week ending November 1, the Labor Department reported that the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 481,000, a decrease of 4,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 485,000. They also reported a four-week moving average of 477,000, unchanged from the previous week's revised average of 477,000.

Despite September's dismal numbers, total job losses remain historically low based on revisions to July and August data. The economy has lost nearly 750,000 jobs since employment peaked in December 2007, which is when many economists say a recession began. By contrast, however, payrolls fell an astounding 1.63 million during the period between March and November 2001 in the recession of that year, and continued falling for almost a full two more years, bringing the total amount of jobs lost to 2.7 million.

Given that the labor market typically lags the broader economic cycle, however, there is little doubt that the worse is yet to come as the economy's cyclical downturn continues.

Now that the presidential election is over, focus is sure to shift back to economic matters. All eyes will be on this week's NFP which—if consensus numbers are accurate—will almost certainly hasten the decline of U.S. equities and give a strong boost to U.S. treasuries, boding well for the greenback.

What is the NFP report?

Of all the world monthly economic reports, the monthly U.S. Non Farm Report (NFP) is the most highly anticipated and has the most dramatic impact on the currency market.

The report, which is released on the first Friday of each month and states the previous month's numbers, provides detailed industry data on employment, hours and earnings of workers on nonfarm payrolls. These numbers are the best way to gauge the current state of the US market as well as the direction that the economy is heading.

What's more, the employment numbers provided by the report are used by the Fed to shape their interest rate policies. The health of the U.S. economy and interest rates translate to the strength or weakness of the U.S. dollar.

Risk with News Trading

As with all major economic releases, there could be significant price volatility with this announcement. Currency spreads will typically widen just before the release and will remain wide for a few minutes after. If the announcement is a shock to the consensus estimate, the price of the currency pair could gap significantly. For example, the price on the EURUSD trading at 1.2820 - 1.2822 just before release could gap up 60 pips to 1.2880 - 1.2882, without any available prices available between the price of 1.2820 and 1.2882. A Buy Stop placed before the announcement at 1.2830 would turn into a Market Order and would be filled at the prevailing price 1.2882. The same would be true with a Sell Stop.

Approximately four years ago we saw a gap of approximately 200 pips on the GBPUSD on a Non-Farm Payroll announcement. While this is an extreme example, it nevertheless is a possibility with trading during economic announcements. Consequently, plan on the spreads widening and, if you are trading with a Buy or a Sell Stop entry order, do not anticipate being filled at your entry price. You will be filled at the prevailing market price after the release, which could be significantly different from your desired price of your entry order.

Please be advised that due to the volatility of price fluctuations during the news, it is possible to see a delay in execution due to the additional verification necessary for each trade.

THE RABBIT HOLE IS FAR INDEED

It seems that the rabbit hole is far indeed. It has moved too far that the trend has turned but now its time for a reverse trade. I am not going to give you a signal but fyi, GU, GJ and GCHF is going long now.

Update:
Volume has been very low for the whole day. A long signal presented itself but with no volume to support it, its not turning. With such a low volume, pairs just slide with the trend. No trade for me anymore. I have ate my stop loss today.

As usual its Monday morning, but unlike before this morning its a fast mover. As usual forex class started at 9am. Who entered the morning class should be in profit by now. I personally got 100 pips off EJ. Now I am not trading anymore. Monday morning got a lot of work to be done. See you again at 3pm.

UPDATE: 3:56PM

As promised earlier. I am trading again at 3pm. This time the signal is not as favourable as in the morning. We have here is a short signal in an uptrend formation. Still it is tradeable but the level of risk is higher.

In the chart there are 2 symbol of hands pointing up and down.
Hand pointing up:
1. Time: 9am Malaysian time
2. Signal: MA cross and RSI>50
3. Trend: Uptrend formation. This is easy picking. I entered 5 minutes earlier and exit 100 pip later. I could have followed the trend but due to office work on monday morning I cannot monitor it. An early exit of 100 pip on Monday morning is not a bad trade.

1. Time: 3pm Malaysian Time
2. Signal: MA cross and RSI=50
3. Trend: Uptrend formation. This is a hard trade. Short signal on an uptrend formation. This trade most probably be a short one. At the time of writing, SL has been moved +10 pips. So I am at a profitable position now. Let see how far the rabbit hole goes.

A NEW DAY A NEW DIRECTION

Yesterday was a good day. Seriously 700++ pips from GJ alone. Total of over 1500 pips in the bag.

Its a new day and a new direction has present itself. At moment there is nothing that I can do except to follow the direction. At the moment holding short on GJ, GU and EU. This is a short position that I have to monitor. This is because at the moment, all these pairs are in an uptrend formation.

What I am going to tell you today is what most new comers dont understand. Its about forex market. What type of people can survive in it.

If you were to become a trader, you must be free of all biased, thought, hope and the likes of it. You dont even have to think. Just see where the market is heading and follow it. Dont trade because you think a pair is going to move somewhere. If you think, you are hoping for it to move according to your desire. You are biased towards it. You are going to be punished by it.

Forex doesnt care what you think. It moves for certain reason and a combination of factors. If you dont know the factors or too lazy to do research, all you can do is follow.

One more thing, most people that I know who trades using technical analysis dont take into account the amount of money moving in and out of a currency. Forex is a money market. People are using money to get more or to lose more money. There is nothing inside the forex market other than money. My advise is pay attention on the volumes traded. It is a fact that at times the volume is too low and those times are not a good time to enter the market.

SLOW MONDAY FOR FOREX

Last week was a good trade. It turns out AUD to be the most volatile and combine that with JPY we have a huge mover. At the moment I am still holding my post of AUDJPY from last week.

Its monday again and like usual its going to start of slow. At the moment the strongest currency is AUD and the weakest is JPY. The signal is to long AUDJPY. Entry point is the hard part. You have to figure it out yourself. Advise is to enter on the next pullback.

As for my basic system, I have found the perfect addition to it. It is exactly what I have in mind with a beatiful and simplified way of presenting it. It is so simple that I will not share the screenshot of it. Since anybody can trade with such a simple indication on the screen.

Forgive me if I am not willing to share since its my work of art for the last 2 years. I am still looking for open forex tournament. Anyone knows any tournament which I can test out my system?

THE 3 PLANETS INLINE. EXPLAINED

Most of people trading Forex that I know will trade based on pairs. They will trade EU, UCAD, UCHF etc. They trade based on individual strength of pair. Lets look at it from another direction.

When we trade EURUSD, we are actually comparing the strength of EUR and USD. Which ever is stronger we will be buying it in order to be profitable and vice versa. It is true that pair such as EURUSD will move based on fundamental and technical factor. What if we compare USD to 3 other currencies such as EUR, GBP and AUD. If you look at the chart closely you will see that sometimes these 3 pairs break the trend at once. Meaning they are syncronize.

The way I see it, if all 3 currencies of EUR, GBP and AUD becoming stronger compared to JPY at once. This is a sign of true weakness of the JPY and a huge move is going to happen. These moves can be seen once or twice a week only but it will give a huge return.

Let illustrate this for better understanding. This is just a simple example using MA. I am sure you can do better with more advance indicator. Below is chart of 3 pairs. GBPJPY, EURJPY and AUDJPY. At the yellow line, we have MA cross at the same time. See what happens afterwards. Basically this is the idea, I am using RSI to filter the noise and trade those 3 inline moves. Thats how I make money last night. I used MA, RSI and Heiken Ashi.

I would like to know what do you think of this system. Its a system because I am trading it again and again with success. Let me know what you think and your idea in order to filter it.

Last night GU really did go up over 100 pip and then decided to go down. Luckily I have moved my stop loss and gain a little last night. I do not trade the move down since I am not infront of my pc.

GBPUSD. I BELIEVE I CAN FLY

Being the strongest of them all at the moment, GBPUSD is flying. This is the initial charge. Like many other breaks before, it will take a rest but not anytime soon. EURUSD is following close behind in term of strength. Maybe some of you didnt know, the EU actually broke the trend on the last spike before the break. AUDUSD is under par at the moment.

For JPY pair, mainly GBPJPY, EURJPY and AUDJPY they are still turning. Slowly moving up. For GJ this move is the 2nd try and it broke the resistance but there is a catch. JPY is not as weak as USD it seems. So shorting JPY may not be profitable as selling the USD. Eitherway, the resistance is being broken now, but in terms of strength, GBP is still under par. Anyone who wishes to try their luck on JPY pair can buy on the next pullback since its not that strong, the next pullback is coming very soon.

Btw, I only trade 2 currencies which are USD and JPY. In order to be profitable, I compare the strength of these 2 currencies with 3 other currencies GBP. USD and AUD. I monitor and trade only 6 pairs. They are GBPUSD, EURUSD, AUDUSD, GBPJPY, EURJPY and AUDJPY.

Did you know that when all 3 USD pairs broke the trend at once, there will be a huge move going to happen. So the next time you see the 3 planets are inline, watch out for the devil. Diablo is coming.

ITS NOT THE HOLLY GRAIL OF FOREX BUT ITS WORKING FINE

I am writing this to get some opinion. Let say that you have develop a system. It may not be the holly grail but you manage for forecast turn and correction most of the time. People kept on asking you to share it. They want you to teach them the secret. What would you do?

Back to trading. GBPUSD downwards movements is declining rapidly in strength. It may turn around and fly away for real but as you understand, it takes time to turn. Just sit back and watch. If you are in profit, advisable to get out now. GBP is the 1st choice for long position. Be it GBPUSD or GBPJPY. It is the strongest of the all.

Previous signal of GBPUSD and USDCHF still holds. Eventhough GBPUSD decided to do one more move down, it has exhausted all its strength.

Trade of the week belongs to AUDUSD.
Believe it or not, the weakened AUD has grown strongest of them all. It will have huge move upward in weeks to come. My advise it to long AUDUSD at the best entry you can find. AUDUSD is expected to make a move down in the next few hours. Be ready with your entry. The last low of 0.6445 is your benchmark. Do find your entry around there.

Another strong turner.
GBPJPY is a strong turner. It is the 2nd strongest of them all. Take your long entry on the next low and hold for weeks to come. I forecast a move upward that will take at least 2 weeks and pip of thousands.

I do not give exact entry point coz both pair have overshot the weekly level. Take you entry based on last low and good luck to us all.

USDCHF HAS TURNED.

This was an article I posted last year. I took it down due to some agreement between me and Henry Carol. It seems that he forgot about it and forgot to fill his end of the bargain. Furthermore I notice his website claims profit of 1420pips on March this year. Kind of hard to believe if you are in my position. Keep on reading on the original article and maybe you can understand why is it hard to believe for me. Hopefully this article can give you some ideas on what is going on.

Lately I found myself having very little time to trade. On August 07 I only traded for 3 days due to my day job requires me to travel alot. So I look around the internet for an account manager. After looking around I've decided to let someone whom I once bought signal from to manage my account. Below are his details.

After showing some impressive account statements, and promise for a target return of 50% a month I finally handed over the account to him. You can click on the picture to see the result of his trade. It is pretty impressive to see what he can do with USD2k in 2 weeks time.

As you can see he totally lost it in 2 weeks time. After he lost it, he just say that he is being reckless and asked me to fund the account again so that he can trade again. What you guys think I should do?

Money I have and money I can find, but the hardest thing to find is responsibility and friendship. You will be surprised at how easy it it a human can be bought by money. You guys might say USD2000 (RM7000) is a lot of money to lose but know this, I have lost more money to people whom I know as friends. These 5 years I have friends that borrow money from me for a total of RM12,000 and I have never seen the money back. Once they have got the money they will just avoid meeting me.

This is a sad story of how I lose my spending money. I hope that all of you out there can be cautious about who you give your money to be it online or offline. This is because once a friend borrowed money from you and he decided to split you will lose money and friendship. They just dont understand that all the power and money in the world counts for absolutely nothing when you are alone. Which is it that you want? More money or more friends?

Anyway back to trading, fasting month is a month of rest for me. I can spend more time in the office so I have time to trade. Last week I gain 10.99% of my account. Hopefully I can maintain that till end of the month. Happy trading everyone.

Good Trade so far

Its been a good week. Last week I posted signal for UJ and GU. I was hoping UJ to make the move but instead GU has done it. Over 1000 pip move. UJ is undecided due to the US economic situation and the 700b bailout plan.

At the moment I have closed all post. GU and GJ is making the strongest move of turning but it wont turn just yet. If you are used to these type of market you will understand that it will take time. So next week hopefully all goes well and a trade signal will come up.

Looking at the chart GJ is closer to breaking the trend compared to GU while AU is going flat now. The rest is slowing down except UJ. I dont know where its going.

BASELINE TRADER: INTRODUCTION

There are many ways to make money in Forex, not to forget there are a million ways to lose money in Forex market. Its an open market design for open competition. Only the smartest will survive.

A little something about Baseline Trader. I have spend more than 2 years looking at charts. I am looking at charts through technical aspect. Meaning, there must be some logical explanation why forex behave the way it is. Looking thru the naked eyes, forex market is unpredictable, wild and hungry. Its like a tsunami wave, destroying everything in its path but then there are wave surfers who make a living out of surfing waves. How is that possible?

Baseline Trader will be based on Fibonacci numbers. Believe or not, Fibonacci is a wonderful mathematical calculation. In the chart there will be short term and long term trade, fib levels, entry and exit, sl level all bunch up in a single chart. Sounds too much but believe me, once you know how to read it, one glance and you know where you are going to be. It is design to be simple yet precise. If you read the chart right, you will always be with the trend and you will always know your exit.

Below is a chart of GJ trade which I took. I like to share with you the chart since willcare is giving signal in the opposite direction. My entry and exit point is based on Fib levels. In the chart the level is not shown since Marketiva doesnt have the indicator available. My full chart is on MT4. Btw, I missed my entry so I will not trade GJ for now. My entry is exactly on the black line.

Its been a long time since posted. On 16 July 2008 that is my birthday, a friend of mine call me up and gave me a birthday present. He said that I should short GBP/USD no matter what. Guess what, till today GU has moved down 2500 pips. Talk about a good birthday present. Thanks Abbas.

USDCAD: TOO MUCH, TOO FAST

Last nite usdcad fall too much and too fast. Is is unexpected. As usual when a pair move too much and too fast, it will lose it balance. As a result, usdcad maybe entering swinging mode for a few days. It doesnt really has direction. It will just goes up and down waiting for it to balance out before a new trend continue.

I am still holding usdcad short for now but in the long run it is not profitable. I will exit soon and wait for the equilibrium of the pair.

CELCOM 3G TWEAK

Market is closed so nothing to see and nothing to do. I will post today how to tweak Celcom 3G so that you can get maximum speed from HSPDA.

PC Setting

1st part is pc setting. You have to max out every setting at you pc for the Nokia Modem. Get to the properties of your modem be it a phone or dedicated modem. This is how my pc setting for the Nokia N95 modem.

That is the pc part. Some people say it is not important since the driver will determine the com speed but I do it anyway just to make sure all speed is max out. Next is the important thing that is the phone setting.

Phone Setting

Get into your phone menu and change the network setting to UMTS only but in order to do this u must make sure there is a strong enough 3G signal. This forces the modem to use UMTS or HSDPA mode. At the moment max download speed for HSDPA is 7.2 Mb. So in theory 2 Mb is a piece of cake.

That is the setting i use to tweak my celcom 3g using Nokia N95 as modem. Simple but effective. Highest download speed recorded is around 2Mb but as we know, Celcom 3G isnt at is best now. Sometimes when the network is bad I couldnt even log in. Considering the speed and mobility, Celcom 3G is going to kick screamyx ass for sure. Dont you think?

CELCOM 3G IS FAST AND FURIOUS

Last time I used to complain about Celcom 3G speed. Well it seems there is a way to make Celcom 3G fly. With a little tweaking you can achieve the same result and more.This is a recorded speed of my daily broadband unlimited with a cap speed of 384kbps. My max download speed is recorded at 2mbps. Anyone here wants the tweak?

As of writing, UsdChf is at its peek. It may go up again but I dont think there is much to go. It is time for any of you to take profit and run away. EU, GU, and AU is at the bottom and UChf is at the top.

I am currently holding UJ only @ 107.90. A long wait before it can profit since UChf is at turning point.

Currently staying at Belmont Marco Polo. Room is ok but have wifi. Guess what, I brought my laptop along.

Early morning open the chart and couldnt resist looking at UsdJpy doing double top. Now shorting UsdJpy from 107.90.

At the moment EurUsd is also turning and will continue its journey down. Something to look for tomorrow morning. No signal for this week coz I am on holiday.

PERFORMANCE JULY 2008

As of writing I have closed all position and I may not trade again for this month. Tomorrow morning I will be going to Tawau by road. It will take 8 hours of driving and will be in Tawau till the end of the month.

MARKET REVIEW 21 JULY 2008

Its Monday again with Forex entering super slow motion. Last week position of UJ has been closed with 280 pips profit. Position of GU, EU, AU is still holding.

This week I will be looking to short Jpy pairs with no.1 choice of Gbp/Jpy. GJ is expected to reach last week high again and thats is where entry point begins. As of now I would short GJ @ 213.50 or better. Meaning you dont have to enter at the exact point, just watch the strength and enter when market is turning.

I will post signal later for confirmation. In the mean time go do something else. Its monday, no forex magic happens on monday.

MARKET REVIEW 14 JULY 2008

Its Monday again with Forex entering super slow motion. Last week we saw a decline in USD despite double good news on friday. It is what I call pushing the market. Someone or a group of people with lots of money is pushing the market opposite of the direction of economic news. This sometimes happens and there is nothing we little fish can do about it but there is a good news. No matter how much you push, it will eventually follow its direction. Forex is an economic instrument afterall. It is influence by supply and demand as well as speculators.

Last week we saw Eur and Aud being the strogest of them all. As a result both has gain over Usd and Jpy making new high but the way I see it, it is a temporary move. The main move is for Usd and Jpy to go higher resulting a fall for Gbp, Eur and Aud being Gbp will be the most affected.

So this week I will be looking to short all Gbp/Usd, Eur/Usd, Aud/Usd, Gbp/Jpy, Eur/Jpy and Aud/Jpy. The question remains is the entry point. From my currenty view entry would somewhere around last week high.

Happy trading and remember to manage your risk at all time. If you are a scalper you may take entry on the downhill movement. As for me I will take top and bottom.

INTERNET CONNECTION IN MALAYSIA

Currently my Streamyx connection at home is making me sick. Everytime there is a change in temperature the line disconnect. I have done a lot of complaint to their customer service and nothing has been done to rectify the problem. At the moment no point complaining, nothing can be done to save Malaysia monopoli broadband company Streamyx by Telekom Malaysia.

As for celcom, I am currently using it everytime Streamyx fail, which is most of the time. Sorry to say, Celcom is not much better than Streamyx. Service is below satisfaction with data coming in at a very slow rate and is not constant.

Looks like I am going back to stone age here in Malaysia. With the current political warfare, dont know what will happen. Just can watch and see and pray.

This week is a good week for forex. Huge profit in the bag. Currently looking to short GU, Eu and AU. Entry point is already here but its friday. Better wait for next week for reentry. I will post reentry next week and hope for profit as this week.
